Looks fantastic in those stills already, wonder how the atmosphere feels when it’s running and things move about.

Any chance for higher res on these? What’s the original size of them and AA settings and such? Honestly they look almost too good to be straight up screenshots. Looking forward to seeing more.

I guess these are shots grabbed from within the Unity Editor, probably, not on mobile graphics emulation, but plain OpenGL on a PC/MAC that’s why it is looking so good.
One of the Unity4 promises was mobile realtime shadows, and the new iPads are strong enough to run such a quality, so I guess they might look exactly like this when running on an iPad (Retina) iPad Mini and iPad Mini Retina hardware.

@gbug – They’re all straight screenshots with no touchup outside of Unity. That said, there is some pretty extensive in-engine post processing.

@Tom – I think that the quality comes from having a super talented and experienced environment artist working closely with an obsessive graphics programmer who knows the engine and the platform inside and out. I don’t think there are any shortcuts there… if you want to push a platform to the limits, you have to put in the time and effort to take it there.
